Why should we believe another politician?

The Green New Deal rolled out recently by some very left leaning politicians will create chaos across the entire U.S. economy.

The Green New manifesto, seeks to destroy 98 percent of this country’s fossil fuel energy needs by retrofitting tens of thousands of homes and businesses to convert them to solar or wind energy. According to common statistics, there are over 150 million homes and businesses across the United States. Yet, within 12 years all of them must be converted to “100 percent renewable” energy? Take a minute to contemplate that.

Western Mass., or the Northeast for that matter, has nowhere near enough open land to fulfill the power requirements solar or wind turbine farms would require.

The Green New Deal shuts down all U.S. airlines.

Have you seen any electric airplanes lately?

How will people travel back and forth to Hawaii? An electric bus that floats?

An electric bicycle, to ride back and forth across “the fruited plains”?

Another infamous politician warned us, “unless drastic measures to reduce greenhouse gases are taken within the next 10 years, the world will reach a point of no return” — Al Gore from 2006.

Why should we believe another politician shouting the same rhetoric at us?

The Green New Deal, reads like a National Lampoon or MAD magazine article with many a good laugh for me.

Except the politicians who presented it to the American people and congress are, so called, serious intellectuals.

Which makes me laugh that much more.
