Library hosting Offers and Needs Market

SHELBURNE — An Offers and Needs Market will be held on Sunday, Jan. 14, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Arms Library, 60 Bridge St.

Offers and Needs Markets showcase hidden talents, skills, resources and needs within a community, and help build bonds that make a community more resilient. Offers and Needs Markets are often organized using a replicable structure from the nonprofit Post Growth Institute. Some skills that may be showcased include accounting services, beekeeping, coin collecting, design work, editing, agricultural knowledge or grocery delivery services.

Jan. 26: Live music at Floodwater

SHELBURNE FALLS — Jenny Burtis and Klon Koehler will perform at Floodwater Brewing Co., 40 State St., on Friday, Jan. 26, at 7 p.m. They will be joined by special guest Robin Batteau. This is a free event.

Town clerk changing office hours

SHELBURNE — Town Clerk Joe Judd advises residents that his office hours are changing for January, February and possibly part of March.

The new hours are: Mondays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. The changes will take effect on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
