Orange crash sends two to hospital, delays traffic

ORANGE — Authorities say two individuals were transported to the Athol Hospital following a collision near the intersection of West Main and Cherry streets Thursday night.

The crash occurred at around 7:15 p.m., with members of the Orange fire and police departments responding. The incident temporarily delayed traffic on West Main Street.

Orange Deputy Fire Chief William Gale said the Orange Fire Department transported one occupant with its ambulance, and requested an Athol ambulance to transport another occupant.

Further information about the individuals involved or the nature of their injuries was not available Thursday night.
