Summer Camp Registration: Monday, June 24, through Friday, Aug. 16. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Theme weeks, field trips, special events and trips to Laurel Lake.

Unity Park Community Garden Plant Swap: Saturday at 11 a.m. (start bringing plants at 10:30). There will be strawberry plants, vegetable starts and seeds to give away, as well as a gardening activity for children.

Skateboarding Lessons: Age groups: 6 to 9 and 10 and up. Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., June 24 through July 17, at Unity Skate Park, 56 1st St., Turners Falls. Montague residents $40, non-residents $45. Age groups may be combined if enrollment dictates.

Night Skates: Unity Skate Park, Turners Falls. Friday, June 21 (National Go Skateboarding Day) and Saturday, July 27, 6 to 10 p.m. The skate park will be illuminated by light towers. Made possible by the Friends of Unity Skate Park, RiverCulture and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. Refreshments (while supplies last) will be provided with proceeds benefiting the Skate Park.

Movies in the Park: Peskeomskut Park, Avenue A, Turners Falls. A partnership with RiverCulture and the Friends of Sheffield Elementary School. Live music will be provided before movies. Friday, June 28, “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial” (PG); Friday, July 12, “Finding Dory” (PG); and Friday, Aug. 16, “Cars 3” (G). Bring a blanket or folding chair. Show times are at dusk. Refreshments provided while supplies last.

Second Annual 3-on-3 Next Up Youth Basketball Tournament: Saturday, Aug. 10 (rain date Aug. 11). Unity Park Basketball Court, 56 1st St., Turners Falls. There will be four divisions: Varsity, JV, 14U and 12U, with a four-game guarantee/single elimination format. Proof of age required at registration. The cost is $40 per team, with a maximum of four players per team. There will be no separate gender divisions; teams may be co-ed or all one gender. Each team must have a team captain/coach.
