I am writing in support of Julie N. Davis for Select Board in the Feb. 5 town election in Orange. Julie’s commitment to the betterment of Orange is evident by her volunteer efforts with several town organizations. Due to her organizational and leadership skills, she is a valued member of the Orange Merchants Group and has been instrumental in planning and implementing many of our town’s privately organized events and festivals. Her managerial position at Quabbin Harvest Food Coop — a business geared toward supporting local farms and providing healthy food for the community — makes her the perfect candidate to reestablish an open line of communication for new businesses coming into town. Lack of communication has been a hot topic in Orange. Julie Davis has never been known to pull a punch. I believe she will be thoughtful, fair, and completely transparent in her decision-making. It is time to pull the curtain back. Please consider voting for Julie N. Davis for Select Board. Committed to business development, open communication, and caring for community — let Julie apply her strengths for the good of the town of Orange.
