Montague, Sept. 11

4:49 p.m. – 911 caller on H Street reported that a white male with a beard and a black sweatshirt was walking through her backyard and her kids were out there playing. They came running in and told her. When she went outside, he was gone. Then a white car pulled up and the occupants said they were looking for the man. Area checked. No one found in the area. Reporting party was advised of a few options in the future and to call right away if this incident occurs again.

Montague, Sept. 23

1:45 p.m. – Reporting party requested to speak with an officer regarding a suspicious man that showed up at her house on Bulkley Street at approximately 6:45 a.m. this morning. Reporting party advised the man asked her marital status and stated that his wife was very sick. Man was driving a ’70- or ’80s-model Ford pickup, colored red and black. Reporting party saw this man once before approximately a week to 10 days ago, walking on Turners Falls Road. Advised of options by Officer Joshua Dobosz and to call if/when the male contacts her again.

Montague, Oct. 6

6:47 a.m. – Reporting party reporting that his car has been entered and gone through. Advised his wallet is missing and it contained $200 cash. Reporting party stated he would stop into the police station once he brings his girlfriend to work.

Montague, Oct. 8

10:44 a.m. – Report of a hit-and-run accident at the bridge on Eunice Williams Drive. Witness saw a red/white truck with an excavator on the back go through the area at the time of the accident. Guide wire and pole taken down.

11:54 a.m. – Caller reported her Kindle, with all of her graduate school textbook materials on it, was stolen from Clinical and Support Options on Friday. Requesting officer call back in regards to how to proceed; unsure who took it. Stolen from office on Friday: Amazon Kindle, 4-gigabit, black, in an embroidered green zipper bag.

1:08 p.m. – Caller reported his EBT card was stolen weeks ago, used recently at the Federal Street Cumberland Farms.

Montague, Oct. 9

5:20 a.m. – Caller reports an accident with injuries at mile-marker 45.8 on Interstate 91. AMR Ambulance has the patient. Vehicle removed.

7:39 a.m. – Caller reported illegal dumping into the Dumpster he has for his tenants at Hayburne Office Building at 55 Federal St.; provided vehicle plates. Employee observed a female operator of mentioned vehicle dump eight bags of trash in dumpster, an ongoing issue. Will follow up with address of registered vehicles.

Greenfield, Friday, Oct. 11

3:13 p.m. — Shawn Hector Mandeville, 19, of Greenfield, was arrested at 298 Federal St. on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon after allegedly brandishing a knife at people.
