Bulletin Board: McGahan, Call top Knights of Columbus League

Kent McGahan and Steve Call tied for first (plus-8) while Craig LeBlanc and Ken Adams tied for third (plus-5) in point quota in the Knights of Columbus Golf League at Thomas Memorial this past week. 

Don Roy won closest to the pin on No. 7 (eight feet) while John O’Riley won on No. 9. Bob Bourbeau, Craig LeBlanc and Bob Walker won skins while Steve Call and Kent McGahan shot the low gross of 37 on the week. 

In the Women’s League at Thomas Memorial, Jane Smith shot the low gross of 42 while Cynthia Marchand had the low net of 27 on Wednesday. 

Deb Demers won closest to the pin on No. 7 (11-11). 

Youth baseball

Thoe Schulte had four hits and six RBIs, Ben Thompson knocked three hits including a triple to bring in three runs while Vinny Toothaker tallied three hits and an RBI in Fitzgerald Real Estate’s 18-16 win over Gagne Wealth Management on Wednesday. 

Spenser Wyngowski knocked four hits, Mason Lovett had three hits and Carson White struck out three for Gagne. 

■ Paul Budrawich tripled and scored the game winning run off a Jackson Baker hit while Henry Kalas and Brantley Curtis hit safely in Pioneer Valley Tire’s 8-7 win over Smitty’s Pub on Tuesday in a AAA contest.

Bella Trinque had two hits and an RBI, Raine Wonsey singled and doubled while Wonsey and Lexi Hawkins combined to strike out 17 in Triton Automotive’s 6-5 Ponytail Division win over Camelot Carpet Cleaners on Wednesday. 

Rian Farrell doubled, Harper Kingsbury and Madison Ross hit safely while Ross struck out seven for Camelot. 

• Brady Deane tallied three hits while Reaghan Bernard knocked two hits in Gilmore and Farrell’s 3-0 win over Franklin First on Wednesday. 

Dani Zraunig and Shaye Tyler each had three hits for Franklin First. 

■ Emerson Russell, Seshiana Davis and Leah Batiste doubled, Maddy Phillips knocked two hits while Charlie Lovett, Sammi Suhl and Esme Sautter singled to lift Pipione’s to a 13-12 win over Camelot Carpet Cleaners on Tuesday. 

Rian Farrell hit a three-run homer while Sadie Wilcox, Miley Frey and Ivy Bettencourt hit safely for Camelot. 

Tri-County League

Ryleigh Goodwin struck out eight, Evy Lewis struck out eight and singled, doubled and knocked in four runs at the plate, Maggie Tsipenyuk and Janessa Sadler each doubled to bring in two while Ryleigh Goodwin singled in the Northfield Cougars’ 12-3 playoff win over Vernon Black on Wednesday. 

Caylen Morse struck out three and singled to score two while Alyssa Jones had a hit and an RBI for Vernon. 

Adult softball

Greenfield co-ed

Dustin Olson had three hits and Tina Riddell knocked two hits in RG Penfield’s 13-9 comeback win over Hot L on Wednesday. 

Matt Gibson had three hits while Allison Weeden had two hits for Hot L. 

Also on Wednesday Nick Aldrich and Brian Ginnity each had three hits while Stephanie Scott, Britt Senn and Angie Renaud had two hits in the Tavern’s 16-15 win over the Liberty Tax Sharks. 

Sean O’Connor had three hits while Che Christi, Jacob Christi, Abbie O’Connor and Bob Badillo had two hits in the loss. 

On Tuesday, Steph Wilkes had six hits and Marissa Wells knocked three hits in RG Penfield’s 34-4 win over Lightlife at Green River.
