Berkshire Highlands Pentathlon

The Berkshire Highlands Pentathlon is returning to Charlemont in April.

The Pentathlon is scheduled to take place on April 1 at Berkshire East Mountain Resort. The race includes five events: a 4.5-mile trail run, an 18-mile bicycle road ride, a two-mile paddle, a two-mile adventure run and a two-mile adventure run and climb down the ski mountain. Participants can choose to complete the course as a team or solo.

Nearly 200 athletes participated last year, with 60 signed up for the 2023 event so far. There will be food and raffle prizes to winners in each category. There is a discounted entry fee for family teams and under-19 entrants.

Online registration is available now at BikeReg.com. Race day registration will be available, with the race still looking for volunteers. This year’s benefactor is the Mary Lyon Foundation.
