Alpine Ski: Addie Loomis, Emmy Sisum finish first and second in seventh PVIAC race

Mohawk Trail’s Addie Loomis won made it seven wins in a row on Tuesday at the PVIAC Alpine Ski Race No. 7 at Berkshire East, taking first with a run of 40.69 seconds on the slalom course. 

Fellow Warrior Emmy Sisum wasn’t far behind, as she took second with a time of 42.72 seconds. Mae Hoff (sixth, 48.04) and Sofiya Slocik-Gritzner (seventh, 48.33) also finished in the top 10 for Mohawk Trail. 

Naomi Den Ouden earned 12th (53.16), Myah Grant placed 18th (57.82) and Ohia Delhert took 21st (58.39) to round out the top 25 placers for the Warriors. 

Three Mohawk Trail racers placed in the top 10 in the boys race, with Weston Den Ouden (second, 28.92), Wyatt Sisum (fifth, 30.92) and Oliver Johnson (ninth, 32.38) leading the charge for the Warriors. 

Ben Makosiej (11th, 32.71), Gage Patenaude (12th, 32.77) and Alex Schreiber (23rd, 35.18) also finished in the top 25 for Mohawk Trail.
