The wait is almost over! A week from tomorrow the Green River Festival will kick off on Friday, July 10, and run through Sunday, July 12, on the grounds of Greenfield Community College. Last year the local music label Signature Sounds of Northampton took over the full operation of the festival from the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce (although the Chamber still handles the hot air balloon portion of the event) and they haven’t lost sight of the community that welcomes them back year after year.
