Letter: Right where they belong
Of the prisoners freed from Guantanamo Bay, 60 percent of them went on to commit further acts of terror, injuring or killing innocent people, many of them women and children. Some of them were even involved in a foiled plot to bomb a line of kids and their parents waiting for the midnight opening of a book store in order to purchase copies of a Harry Potter book in 2007.
The ones that remain at Guantanamo are the worst of the worst. Who wants to be the one to free more terrorists to kill innocent people? Supposedly they were turned over to their respective governments for “safe keeping” in hopes those governments would not give them the freedom to commit more acts of terror. It failed horribly.
These people are right where they belong.
