Selectmen’s workshop explains funding for roads, bridges
The Franklin Regional Council of Governments invites town officials and the public to learn about federal funding for roads and bridges, and how to apply for the money, in a workshop called “The Roads and Bridges of Franklin County: A Transportation Funding Primer.”
It takes place on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the first-floor meeting room at the John W. Olver Transit Center, 12 Olive St. The workshop will provide information on federal funding allotment and how to apply, as well as information about state funding sources, such as MassWorks, STRAP and Chapter 90 state road funds.
