Cosby daughter weds
SHELBURNE FALLS — Ensa Camille Cosby, daughter of the town’s most famous couple, Camille and Bill Cosby, was married to Martin Lord McClean on Saturday afternoon at Trinity Church.
When reached by telephone, the Rev. Marguerite Sheehan of Trinity Church, who presided over the ceremony, confirmed other reports that the ceremony had taken place there.
She said it was a “medium-sized wedding of close friends and family.”
“We were honored to be the place where they chose to get married,” she said.
Sheehan said she wanted to respect the family’s privacy and could not disclose more details of the wedding.
“It was very lovely, very meaningful,” said Sheehan. “We were pleased that she wanted to have her wedding here, in this town and our church.”
The Cosbys could not be reached for comment. The Cosbys have had a home in Shelburne Center since the early 1970s, according to Recorder files, although they have other homes elsewhere in the country and do not live in Franklin County continuously.
