United Way hosting luncheon

The United Way of Franklin County will host a luncheon on Wednesday at noon at the Greenfield Country Club.

The agency asked Chuck Gijanto, president of Baystate Franklin Medical Center, to speak at the event about the United Way and the local community. Baystate Health is matching any gifts made to the United Way before Wednesday, April 30.

The event costs $25 and people can register at the door or by calling 413-772-2168. Gifts for the matching campaign can be brought to the luncheon or sent to 51 Davis St., Suite 2, in Greenfield.
