January is a great time to set new personal goals for improved health and wellness.
Family Programming: The YMCA has created one-stop-programming options to make it easy and economical for families to get healthy and have fun all at the same time. Monday through Friday, 3 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., families can choose Y activities to do together or choose separate classes or activities for each member of the family. For example, parents could take a group exercise class or swim laps while their children take a gymnastics lesson or play in the Game Room. For program options, go to: ymcaingreenfield.org and click on “brochure” or call the Y at 773-3646 about pricing. With a Y family membership every member of a family can participate in activities seven days a week.
