Welcome Party: Children of all ages and their caregivers are invited to say hello to Angela Rovatti-Leonard, the new children’s librarian at Carnegie Library on April 26 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Crafts and snacks, too.

Millers Falls Library Club: The Millers Falls Library Club is a free after school program that meets on Tuesdays, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

The drop-in sessions are designed for children of all ages. Ruth O’Mara runs the activities, which include stories, arts and crafts, and snacks.

Story Time: Children and their families are invited to come and enjoy stories, crafts, music, activities and snacks with Ruth O’Mara on Wednesdays at 10:15 a.m. at Carnegie Library in Turners Falls.

The weekly free series is designed for young children.

This is a great time to meet new people, listen to stories, chat and spend a Wednesday morning.

Hands-on Science: Hands-on Science for Homeschoolers, Wednesdays at 1:15 p.m. at Carnegie Library. Children of all ages and their families explore fun science experiments with Mr. Klaiber.

Music and Movement: This fun series for young children with Tom Carroll and Laurie Davidson meets at the Montague Center Library on Thursdays at 10 a.m. through June.

Digital Turners Falls Newspaper Archive: The Montague Public Libraries have established an on-line archive for old Turners Falls newspapers.

The Turners Falls Reporter and Herald newspapers from 1872-1942 were recently digitalized.

Patriot’s Day Closing: The Carnegie and Montague Center Libraries will be closed on April 21, in observance of the state holiday.
