There’s lots going on as this first week of June comes to an end and summer rev s up.
THERE WILL BE A GREENHOUSE PLANT SALE at Leverett Elementary School on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please support the school and its students by stopping by and buying some plants that the students started from seeds. You could also just take a tour of the greenhouse and make a donation if you don’t need any plants.
All of the money raised will be used to buy more supplies so the students can continue their gardening projects.

JUST SO YOU KNOW, Relay for Life cancer survivors who have mobility problems and plan to attend the event on June 13 at the Franklin County Fairgrounds but cannot walk the track, may still participate, because organizers are hoping that convertible owners will offer their time and vehicles.
If you own a convertible and would like to participate in some way until about 7 that evening, call Sandy Brodie at 413-773-9217 or email her at: email@example.com.

THE NEWT GUILBAULT 10 AND UNDER BASEBALL tournament team in Montague is holding a tag sale on June 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Campbell Field next to Sheffield Elementary School to raise money to defray the cost of this year’s tournaments. The rain date is June 22.
All proceeds will offset the many costs, including entry fees, umpire salaries, uniforms, travel expenses and hotel costs.
You can help in several ways. For starters, donate items to be sold at the tag sale by call 413-834-2698 or 413-824-0901. If you can’t drop off items, which are in good condition, arrangements will be made to pick them up from you.
You can also show up to the tag sale and purchase items. Or, you can simply donate by calling the phone numbers above.
Just remember that every little bit helps our younger neighbors.
