Aubrey A. Waynelovich — Nikolas A. Hepner

Aubrey Adeline Waynelovich and Nikolas Alexander Hepner of Tolland, Conn., were married Sept. 28, 2013.

The bride is the daughter of Nicholas and Charlotte Waynelovich of Turners Falls.

The groom is the son of Alexander and Duska Hepner of Fort Myers, Fla.

The 11 a.m. ceremony and reception took place at the Candlewood Inn at Candlewood Lake, Brookfield, Conn., with the Rev. David Neil officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her parents, escorted by her father. The bride came down the aisle to “Marry Me” by Train. The reading was from 1 Corinthians 13 and read by Lexy Onofrio, sister of the groom. A vocal of “Golden” by Lady Antebellum took place during the Unity Sand ceremony. Music was by the bride’s brother, John, who was vocalist and on keyboard with Jay Driscoll, friend, on guitar. The recessional was to “Crazy” by Hunter Hayes. Flowers were by “Wild Flowers” of Tolland, Conn, The bride’s matrons of honor were her sisters — Lisa McCarthy and Kimberly Williams. Bridesmaids were Allison Furkey, Nicole McVeigh and Heather Smith, friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Natalia Onofrio, niece of the groom. Flower girls were Madelyn McCarthy and Whitney Williams, nieces of the bride.

Andrew Hepner, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Steve Goepfert, Harry Levesque, Owen Toombs, Mike Goepfert and Brandon Behrens. Other attendants were Patrick and Braden McCarthy, the bride’s nephews.

DJ Chris Neil provided music at the reception.

The bride wore an ivory Maggie Sottero gown highlighted with Swarovski crystals and teal shoes to match the bridesmaids’ cocktail-length teal dresses. The flower girls wore white lace dresses with teal sashes. The ring bearers wore gray suits to complement the groomsmen.

Guests attended from N.H., Mass., Conn., N.Y., R.I., Vt., Mo., Texas, Florida and Canada.

The newlyweds took a wedding trip to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. They are building a home in Coventry, Conn.

The bride graduated in 2000 from Turners Falls High School, earned a bachelor of science in nursing in 2004 from the UMass Dartmouth and a master’s in nursing in 2009 from UConn. She is a nurse practitioner in ICU at UConn Medical Center and at Manchester Hospital.

The groom graduated in 2005 from Tolland High School. He earned a marketing degree from Quinnipiac College, Conn., in 2009. He is employed as a personal trainer.

The bride will use the name Aubrey Hepner.
