Paul Mervine and Andrea Llamas of Conway and April and James Anderson of Lake Wales, Florida are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Rachael Lynne Mervine, to Andrew Edward Pepyne, the son of Edward and Cynthia Pepyne of South Deerfield.

The ceremony took place on Aug. 31, 2013 at 4 p.m. in the apple orchard at Quonquont Farm in Whately, MA, with Father Robert Coonan officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her father.

The bride’s maid of honor was Sarah Scott of Whately and the groom’s best man was Ben Warnick of South Deerfield.

The reception was held at Quonquont Farm with Amherst String Ensemble and Epic Entertainment Boston providing music. The reception was catered by Seth Mias with floral design by Fairview Gardens. The wedding cake was made by Greggory’s Pastry Shop.

The wedding was captured in film by photographers Brittney Love & Shana Perry of Love & Perry Photography of Hatfield, MA. Hilltown Tents provided lighting and tents services while the photo booth was provided by Southampton Party Patrol.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Greece and Switzerland after which they plan on making a home in Washington D.C.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Frontier Regional School. She graduated from Columbia University in May 2013 with her Doctor of Physical Therapy and currently is a licensed physical therapist.

The groom graduated in 2003 from Frontier Regional School. He is currently a process engineer for Exxon Mobil. The pair met at Frontier Regional and both attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

The bride was a member of the UMass field hockey team which won the 2007 Atlantic 10 Championship. The groom played club rugby and was a member of the commonwealth college.

Both newlyweds would like to thank the University of Massachusetts Alumni Association for helping facilitate the appearance of Sam the Minuteman at their reception.
