Winter parking ban under way in Whately

WHATELY — No vehicles will be allowed to park on the streets or in the municipal parking areas from midnight to 7 a.m. until April.

The Board of Selectmen enacted the annual snow removal parking ban, effective immediately. The ban will be in force until April 15.

All-town meeting in Conway on Nov. 20

CONWAY — On Nov. 20, the town will hold an all-committee, all-department meeting at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall gym.

All committee, commission, and board members, and all staff, are invited.

The meeting will serve as an opportunity for members to give a brief report on their work over the past year, present current work and report future projects.

Some Sunderland roads won’t be maintained in winter

SUNDERLAND — The Board of Selectmen authorized its annual list of roads that will not be maintained during the winter. The roads are not closed, but not plowed or sanded by the town.

Roads and portions of roads are Cemetery Road, Clark Mountain Road, Cross Mountain Road, Ferry Road, Gunn Cross Road, Gunn Mountain Road, Hubbard Hill Road, Middle Mountain Road, Middle Mountain Road, Mount Toby Tower Road, North Mountain Road, Reservation Road, Reservoir Road and Whitmore Cross Road.
