SAWMILL RIVER ARTS GALLERY, 440 Greenfield Road, Montague. 367-2885, ∎ “Color a Lighthouse” with Louise Minks, Sunday, Aug. 11, noon to 3 p.m., at the Sawmill River Arts Gallery at The Montague Mill (Book Mill) in Montague Center. Using copies of her pen-and-ink drawings, Minks will provide supplies for you to color or paint one of your favorite Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket lighthouses to take home. Suggested fee: $4 for kids under 12, $5 for adults, or $15 for a group of four or more. Limited to six per hour. SHELBURNE FALLS ARTS COOPERATIVE, 26 Bridge St., Shelburne Falls. “Our Town — Shelburne Falls” features the work of 50 local artists, in media including wall art, fiber, pottery, glass, jewelry and wood. On Sunday, Aug. 25, the gallery will host a 15th Anniversary reception and folk musicians Sue Kranz and Ben Tousley will perform in two concerts, from 3 to 3:30 p.m. and 4 to 4:30 p.m. During the month of August, the gallery will hold a 15th Anniversary raffle for a $50 gift certificate. The drawing will be held at the reception on Aug. 25. The exhibit is up through Aug. 26. Mondays and Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed Tuesdays.

WENDELL FREE LIBRARY, 7 Wendell Depot Road, Wendell. 978-544-3559, “Seeing Into Metal,” photographs by Gloria Kegels. Twelve mounted prints based on photographs of the reflective surfaces of vehicles and motorcycles. The result transforms real objects into abstract compositions of shape and color.
