VINTAGE MUSIC WORKSHOP is seeking a few more participants for the July 20 to 28 session. The workshop offers an engaging venue where musicians have fun while furthering their skills and learning, through the music, about cultural history that is their legacy. The program embraces the “passing it on” tradition by creating a collaborative environment in which seasoned musicians are mentoring amateur musicians. The play list is a sampling of vintage music being played, danced to, and enjoyed in our local foothills during the 1800s to 1940s. Participants use their own instruments, which are acoustic and portable such as voice, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo and others. Participants attend for free. The workshop takes place in Ashfield, four hour a day with a performance on July 28. People should express interest as soon as possible. For details and to enroll, contact Jackie at 628-0262,
