Pedestrian treated after being hit by vehicle Sunday in Leverett

LEVERETT — A male pedestrian was taken to Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield for injuries after he was struck by a vehicle on Long Plain Road Sunday at 12:45 p.m.

State police trooper Nicole Morrell said the driver of the vehicle, Geraldine Cinquantini, 71, of Leverett had not been cited in the accident as of Sunday night.

Morrell said that police are still investigating how the accident happened. She said Sunday night that she did not know the pedestrian’s name or condition.
