Greenfield, May 2
1:51 p.m. — A High Street caller reported a scam by people claiming to be with Publisher’s Clearing House.
4:17 p.m. — A caller from the Route 2 bypass reported that her boyfriend stole her lawn mower and is now driving erratically and may be intoxicated.
4:31 p.m. — Melvin Elliott, 26, with a listed address of the Days Inn, was arrested on a warrant after he turned himself in at the station.
5 p.m. — Robin Whitcomb-Detmold, 27, of Greenfield, will be summoned to court on charges of driving with a suspended license and failing to stop at a stop sign after a traffic stop.
5:04 p.m. — Ronnie Hale Woodard, 44, of Heath, will be summoned to court on a shoplifting charge after employees of Ryan and Casey Liquors reported that he allegedly stole from the store.
6:24 p.m. — Received a report of a male and female shooting a pellet gun in the area of the railroad tracks by Bank Row. Officers were unable to locate them.
6:51 p.m. — Terrell Lee Carter, 25, of Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.
10:07 p.m. — Responded to a Deerfield Street residence for a report of someone trying to get into the house. An intoxicated male was found and transported to his house, where his wife took custody.
10:39 p.m. — Justin McKelvey, 24, of Greenfield, will be summoned to court on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, wanton and reckless behavior creating risk of bodily injury to a child, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, malicious damage to a motor vehicle and speeding, after police responded to a domestic disturbance at his residence.
Greenfield, May 3
12:26 a.m. — Robert Davis, 43, of 144 Montague City Road, Montague, was arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, domestic assault and battery, and a warrant, after police responded to a domestic disturbance at a Chapman Court residence.
7:15 a.m. — Received a report of a small child walking alone on Ferrante Avenue. Officers found the 2-year-old girl, and walked around the neighborhood with her, looking for her home. Her mother drove up and the two were reunited. The mother said her daughter must have followed her outside when she left for work.
10:54 a.m. — A Wells Street caller reported finding a bag of drug paraphernalia on his lawn. The items were retrieved by an officer.
