Albert K. Vieira, 24, of Danville, Vt. Pleaded innocent to trafficking in 18 grams or more, or less than 36 grams of cocaine, possessing a Class B drug, to wit, fentanyl, conspiracy to violate drug laws, possessing a firearm without a firearms identification card, and failure to wear a seat belt. Bail set at $5,000 cash, or $50,000 surety. Continued to 9/12/17 for pretrial conference.

Greenfield, Sept. 5, Judge William Mazanec III

Dylan J. Wickline, 22, of Federal Street, Greenfield. Pleaded guilty to possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, sentenced to six months in the house of correction, direct. Possessing a Class B drug, to wit, adderall, sentenced to six-months in the house of correction, direct, and concurrent with the previous count. Charges of possessing a burglarious instrument, resisting arrest, and breaking and entering a vehicle or boat at nighttime with intent to commit a felony all dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Dylan J. Wickline, 22, of Federal Street, Greenfield. Pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Deerfield. Sentenced to 10 days in the house of correction, concurrent with another sentence, and given credit for time served. Found guilty of failure to stop for police, filed until 10/13/17. Found not responsible for speeding. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Bradley E. Trombley, 42, of Eleventh Street, Turners Falls. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery on a pregnant victim, strangulation or suffocation, and assault and battery on family/household member. Ordered held without right to bail, as a C276, section 56A form was filed by the Commonwealth, and an allegation of abuse under 276, section 56A, was found. Continued to 10/4/17 for pretrial conference.

Brad H. McConnell, 27, of Shelburne Road, Greenfield. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs, this date.

Rebecca J. Badore, 42, of Pond Street, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to attempted murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon with serious injury, and leaving the scene of personal injury. Ordered held without bail as a C276, section 56A form was filed by the Commonwealth and an allegation of abuse under 276, section 56A, was found. Continued to 9/12/17 for dangerousness hearing.

James A. Poudrier, 31, of Dickinson Hill Road, Whately. Pleaded innocent to disorderly conduct, and assault and battery in Sunderland. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/26/17 for pretrial conference.

Joshua M. Baronas, 36, of Keene, N.H., Pleaded innocent to trafficking in .36 grams or more, or less than 100 grams of cocaine, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and motor vehicle lights violation. Bail set at $5,000 cash or $50,000 surety. Continued to 10/3/17 for bind-over hearing. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Greenfield, Sept. 6, Judge William Mazanec III

Evan J. Westcott, 29, of West Springfield. Pleaded innocent to larceny under $250, and larceny of a credit card in Deerfield. Released on personal recognizance. Must have no drugs, and subject to screens. Continued to 10/30/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Timothy Gurley, 33, listed as homeless, of Greenfield. Admitted to sufficient facts for carrying a dangerous weapon, to wit, a knife/cutting instrument, but continued without a finding until 2/6/18, with victim-witness assessment of $50, and must stay 50 yards away from and have no contact with a named victim. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a knife/cutting instrument. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

Michael White, 31, of Bridge Street, Shelburne Falls. Admitted to sufficient facts for disorderly conduct. Fined $150. Charge of vandalizing property. Dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay counsel fee of $150, or perform 16 hours of community service.

Steven R. Rice, 30, of Brattleboro Road, Bernardston. Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/30/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150 and $50 counsel contribution.

Darnell L. Turner, 43, of Elm Street, Franklin County House of Correction, Greenfield. Admitted to sufficient facts for violation of an abuse prevention order in Sunderland. Sentenced to one year in the house of correction, direct, with credit for time served.

Darnell L. Turner, 43, of Elm Street, Franklin County House of Correction, Greenfield. Admitted to sufficient facts for violation of an abuse prevention order in Sunderland, different date from previous case. Sentenced to one-year in the house of correction, direct, and concurrent with previous case. Two more charges of violation of an abuse prevention order were both dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Armando C. Leone, 34, of Riverside Drive, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to two charges of larceny from a person. Bail set at $200 cash, must stay away from Taylor’s Tavern. Continued to 9/28/17 for pretrial conference.

Joel M. Young, 60, of Wells Street, Greenfield. Placed on pretrial probation until 1/30/18 for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a shod foot. Must stay away from and have no contact with a named person, and must stay away from wherever the named person may reside, plus must have no possession of firearms. Placed on pretrial probation until 1/30/18, for assault and battery, and concurrent with the conditions in the first count. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Greenfield, Sept. 7, Judge William Mazanec III

Dominick C. Knechtel, 20, of Daniel Shays Highway, Orange. Admitted to sufficient facts for negligent operation of a motor vehicle in Northfield. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 3/7/18, with victim-witness assessment of $50, and must take and complete the Brains at Risk program. Found not responsible for marked lanes violation. Charge of operating under the influence of drugs, was not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, after careful review of the available evidence supporting this charge, the Commonwealth cannot sustain its burden; the defendant is pleading to negligent operation of a motor vehicle, which makes this action in the best interest of justice. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

Brian P. Keaney, 39, of Auburn. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent in Deerfield, but continued without a finding until 9/6/18, with 45 days mandatory loss of license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80. Must have mental health evaluation and take any after-care recommended. Found not responsible for marked lanes violation. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.
