Norman T. Plausky, 45, of Water Street, Greenfield. Pleaded guilty to shoplifting, third offense, at Big Y Supermarket in Greenfield, sentenced to six months in the house of correction, suspended, placed on probation until 10/3/17, with victim-witness assessment of $50, must have no drugs or alcohol, subject to screens/tests, and must take and complete a substance abuse evaluation, and take any after-care treatment recommended. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Adria M. Pandolfini, 38, of Chicopee. Charge of possessing a device for wiretapping, in Deerfield, was not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, it is in the interest of justice.

Cassandra M. Carter, 26, of L Street, Turners Falls. Pleaded innocent to possessing a Class B drug, to wit, crack cocaine with intent to distribute, and operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, in Greenfield, bail set at $1,000 cash or $10,000 surety, continued to 11/1/16 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Jennifer M. Prue, 32, of Fourth Street, Turners Falls. Pleaded guilty to operating under the influence of drugs, third offense, in Greenfield, sentenced to six months in the house of correction, direct, with $1,000 fine ordered, and then remitted. Charge of operating without using the ignition interlock, sentenced to six months in the house of correction, direct, and again a $1,000 fine ordered, and then remitted. Charges of possessing a Class B drug, to wit, cocaine, possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, were all dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found responsible for window obstructed/nontransparent, filed until 1/4/17. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Orange, Oct. 4, Judge David S. Ross

Joshua Hart, 25, of C Street, Athol. Pleaded innocent to being an accessory after the fact, released on personal recognizance, must stay 25 yards away from and have no contact with a named person, continued to 10/18/16 for status review.

Greenfield, Oct. 5, Judge William Mazanec III

Ethan Scott, 48, of West Yarmouth. Admitted to sufficient facts for violation of an abuse prevention order, in Northfield, to be dismissed on payment of victim-witness assessment of $50, and must have mental health evaluation and take any after-care recommended, and must abide by any 209A restraining order in existence, Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

Nicholas M. White, 39, of Mary Potter Lane, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to three charges of carrying a firearm without a license, bail set at $100 cash, continued to 11/9/16 for pretrial conference.

Allen F. Smith, 50, of North Cadwell Road, Northfield. Charge of setting a fire in the open, dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Charge of threatening to commit a crime, to wit, assault and battery, was not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, there isn’t sufficient information to support this charge.

David A. Walker, 37, of Green River Road, Greenfield. Gerald O. Jacobs, 43, of East Longmeadow. Pleaded guilty to resisting arrest, in Greenfield, sentenced to 10 months in the house of correction, direct, and concurrent with three other cases, but Howard Street facility in Springfield is recommended. Pleaded guilty to assault and battery on a police officer, sentenced to 10 months in the house of correction, concurrent with count one.

Jennifer Unangst, 38, of Winooski, Vt. Pleaded innocent to trafficking in cocaine with 18 grams or more, or less than 36 grams, possessing a Class A drug, to wit, Heroin, conspiracy to violate drug laws, number plate violation, and unregistered motor vehicle, in Deerfield by state police, bail set at $1,000 cash continued to 11/14/16 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

John A. Campbell, 26, of Springfield. Charges of larceny of a motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, were not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, the defendant pled guilty to the same charges in Springfield District Court based on the same incident that crossed county lines.

Catherine R. Driscoll, 36, of Main Street, Greenfield. Found not responsible for miscellaneous municipal motor vehicle ordinance or bylaw, to wit, failure to use care in starting stopping, turning, and backing. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs, today.

Evan Wheeler, 20, of Coombs Hill Road, Colrain. Charge of criminal harassment, in Shelburne, was not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, this is an on going investigation; at this time this action is appropriate, but the Commonwealth reserves the right to re-open the matter once further investigation is complete.

Justin R. Coates, 28, of Louisville, Ky. Admitted to sufficient facts for negligent operation of a motor vehicle, in Greenfield by state police, but continued without a finding until 4/6/17, with head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50, and no travel restriction recommended, and no license lost recommended. Pleaded guilty to operating under the influence of liquor, second offense, in Deerfield by state police, sentenced to 18 months in the house of correction, nine months direct, balance suspended, placed on probation until 10/5/18, with two-year loss of license, plus $500 fine, and $100 surfine, head-injury assessment of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, and victim-witness assessment of $50, must have no drugs or alcohol, and subject to screens/tests, must have a SCRAM unit installed and must attend AA meetings and must provide proof of attendance at the meetings. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found not responsible for marked lanes violation, speeding, and no registration in possession. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150, with $350 counsel contribution. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

Hilary A. Henderson, 31, of Chapman Street, Greenfield. Two charges of distributing a Class A drug, heroin in both charges, were dismissed on request of the Commonwealth in favor of a plea in another case.

Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, placed on pretrial probation until 4/7/17, with restitution yet to be determined. Found not responsible for marked lanes violation,

Shane A. Trudeau, 34, of Miles Street, Greenfield. Found responsible for operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, fined $100 and decriminalized, to wit, converted to a civil offense. Found responsible for number plate violation, fined $35.

Charges of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, and statutory rape of a child, were not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, the defendant has been indicted and arraigned in Franklin Superior Court.

Tyler E. Hakkinen, 27, of East Howe Street. Admitted to sufficient facts for possessing a Class D drug, to wit, marijuana with intent to distribute, but continued without a finding until 4/7/17, with victim-witness assessment of $50, must have no drugs or alcohol, and subject to screens/tests, must take and complete a substance abuse evaluation, and take any after-care treatment recommended. Admitted to sufficient facts for possessing a Class B drug, to wit, cocaine, with same conditions as in count one. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.
