Hundreds of artists
The Paradise City Arts Festival returns to Northampton Saturday, Sunday and Monday with 260 competitively juried artists from 22 states exhibiting original works. Among them are local artists, including Susan Valentine of Leveret. In addition to four buildings of art, the festival features live music, locavore dining and demonstrations. Ayesha Mayadas studied the techniques of hammering and forming sculptural and abstract vessels made in copper, silver and steel in addition to silversmithing.  She states, "Movement and fluidity were key elements of these sculptures and remain so in my jewelry designs today."
