ERVING — Registered Democrats in Erving will hold a caucus on Sunday, Feb 18, at Town Hall to elect delegates and alternates to this year’s Massachusetts Democratic State Convention.

This year’s state convention will be held June 1 and 2 at the DCU Center in Worcester, where thousands of Democrats from across the state will come together to endorse candidates for statewide offices.

The Erving caucus is open to all registered and preregistered Democrats in the town. Preregistered Democrats turning 18 by Sept. 4 will be allowed to participate and run as a delegate or alternate. Erving can elect two delegates and one alternate to the convention.

Doors open at 2:20 p.m. and close at 3 sharp. The caucus will be called to order at 3:15 p.m.

According to a press release, youth, minorities, people with disabilities and LGBTQ individuals who aren’t elected may apply to be an add-on delegate at the caucus or online at massdems.org.
