Feeling angry about the need for justice.

Honestly don’t have freedom at all.

I want to add my name to the Bill of Rights

‘cause I have been left out.

I’m going to school but what

am I learning?

I have kids but they belong

to the state.

I grow some vegetables in my back yard and

I get fined for eating.

The water I drink is poison to my body.

I have an Illness.

The clothes I wear

force a bullet through my heart.

My gun, meant to protect me,

can not be drawn to control the persecutor.

I’m black, I’m Puerto Rican.

A minority says who?

I’m labeled, I’m imprisoned,

I have no freedom.

Feeling angry about the need for justice.
