WENDELL — Scholarship applications are now being accepted by Dollars for Wendell Scholars, which is open to all students who live in Wendell and are pursuing any accredited secondary education.

In order to apply, students must fill out an application (which are available at local high schools and the Wendell Free Library), and write a short essay, according to a news release about the scholarship, which is funded through donations. Secondary education includes college or technical school.

Applications must be sent to Dollars for Wendell Scholars, P.O. Box 232, Wendell, MA 01379, by April 15. For anyone who wants to make a donation to the scholarship fund, checks should be made payable to “Dollars for Wendell Scholarships,” and mailed to the same address.
