DEERFIELD — Riders came from all over the Pioneer Valley and beyond to cycle the Deerfield Dirt-Road Randonnee (D2R2) fundraising event Saturday, Aug. 19.

Entrants showed themselves to be not only physically fit and intrepid, but creative. A man from Littleton unicycled the 40-mile Green River Tour with his 16-year-old son.
