Greenfield, June 1

12:39 p.m. — Kortney L. Thurber, 18, of Gill, was arrested on a warrant. 

3:44 p.m. — A fist fight was reported between two men in a parking lot on Main Street. No arrests reported. 

4:18 p.m. — A hit-and-run accident was reported after one of the people in the accident had reportedly left due to being “in fear” after they were allegedly assaulted by the other driver. No charges filed. 

6:46 p.m. — Police removed a puppy from a car at Hope and Olive streets. The puppy was brought to the station to cool down and also had ticks on it, which were removed by police. Owner picked up the pet.

Greenfield, June 2

8:06 p.m. — Megan E. Zank, 20, of Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant on Water Street.

Greenfield, June 3 

12:13 p.m. — A traffic stop on Deerfield Street resulted in the arrest Micah G. Nusbaum, 31, of Greenfield on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, second offense, failing to stop for police, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Greenfield, June 4

10:57 a.m. — A person reported that an employee of a day care had reportedly assaulted their child. 

4:25 p.m. — A person reported that they saw a man yelling and swearing at and pushing his child on Federal Street. 

6:35 p.m. — A portion of the fence around the Green River near Eunice Williams Bridge was reportedly damaged. 

Greenfield, June 5

11:44 a.m. — The windows of the ServiceNet building on Prospect Street were damaged by someone using a BB gun. 

Greenfield, June 6

3:20 p.m. — Jonathan M. Mathieu, 32, of Fourth Street in Turners Falls was arrested on a warrant.

Greenfield, June 7

9:12 a.m. — A reported overdose at or near the Community Substance Abuse Center on Shelburne Road. 

1 p.m. — A cat was struck around Hope Street. 

Greenfield, June 8

1:18 a.m. — Jason W. Penniman, 24, of Deerfield Street was arrested on a warrant on Main Street.
