Back before succumbing to fame, poet and folksong creator Bob Dylan wrote a ballad about how people are used by the powerful titled “Only a Pawn in Their Game.” The subject — the rifle shot in darkness by a white man taking the life of Black civil rights leader Medgar Evers. The larger theme was the extent to which much of our history plays out in darkness, behind the scenes.

Ronald Reagan, ironically an actor before becoming politician, was chosen by what can best be defined as a radical cabal to begin the process of restoring the power of business over the 45-year span of progressivism in governance and jurisprudence that had been introduced by FDR. Notably, Reagan destroyed the air traffic controllers union.

Donald Trump is the latest pawn in that ongoing undemocratic business/right-wing attempt to gain control. He’s not very smart, his mismanagement allowing COVID to kill thousands more than it should have, and also allowing his inherited wealth to be put in jeopardy by lies. But with record expansion of our national debt, he delivered tax breaks for the wealthy and big business.

Amid the buzz about an election a year away, we have a productive, elderly Democratic candidate harassed by an array of radical Republican critics, faced by an autocrat who would trash the Constitution, who and already once has attempted myriad efforts to carry out a coup d’etat to stay permanently in office.

If reelected, he openly promises personal management of every office of government, even concentration camps for enforcement.

Just imagine, Trump (another actor) brags about abusing women, could shoot someone in public, demonstrates racism, lost a rape case in court, inspired insurrection at the Capitol, describes veterans as fools, and faces 91 criminal charges in four courts, yet mysteriously remains these rogue Republicans’ leader.

Bearing no resemblance to conservatives, they’re a radical cabal exemplifying how history plays out behind the scenes. Republican voters are pawns in their game.

A month ago, I wrote in these pages about how Zionists took control of the historically brutalized Jewish people and led them from behind the scenes on an extremist path of conquest of Palestinians, leading to the present dilemma. Zionists’ own brutalization has created millions of victims whose 78-year anger can’t be controlled or gotten rid of.

Here in the U.S., November marks 60 years since the dramatic and significant events played out behind the scenes of a murder, that of President John F. Kennedy. The schemers who wanted him out of office selected a man to be accused of the crime and arranged to have him murdered so there would be no trial revealing his innocence.

This bears repeating. In the very hour that Kennedy received last rites in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963, it was fully known he’d been the victim of rifle fire from at least two assassins, a conspiracy in a coup d’etat against the government of the United States. As it came to be understood by researching historians, this seizure of power was launched by elements of intelligence, military, and business interests long displeased with JFK’s initiatives to end the Cold War, for general disarmament, regulation of business, and for civil rights. Kennedy had made it known he was ending involvement in Vietnam.

His presidency had been an intensifying response to President Eisenhower’s parting warning against the military-industrial forces that had taken control of the country in the wake of World War II.

Secret Service Agent Clint Hill reported a large exit wound in the lower back of Kennedy’s skull. Motorcycle officer Bobby Hargis, riding to the left rear of the limousine, reported being spattered in the face with the blood and brain matter from that exit wound.

Every one of the 40 doctors and nurses engaged in trying to save the life of the president observed his fatal wound was from the front. In a published photograph, White House Press Secretary Malcolm Kilduff pointed to his right forehead to mark the point of entry of that fatal shot.

Fifty-one witnesses questioned by the Warren Commission claimed shots came from the front, in addition to firing from the building to the rear. Secret Service agents secretly helicoptered the body to the morgue for pre-autopsy surgery, the conspirators controlled the investigation, then assassinated three others who pressed for the truth.
