Journalism has gone downhill

Monday, November 06, 2017

You recently ran a letter saying Pete’s Tire Barn pledged $75,000 to the Quabbin Retreat! Then the article says its $7,500.

Which is it? There’s obviously a big difference.

How could such a mistake make it to print? Does anyone there proofread? Will anyone be held accountable?

It’s just so typical of newspapers today and journalism, in general. It’s gone downhill so dramatically.

I’m sure there will be several more mistakes, typos, or misspellings in tomorrow’s paper as well and no one will be held accountable again.

It’s sad.
