Business owner supports library

First and foremost, I would like to thank the city councilors for their service and dedication to the City of Greenfield. I love Greenfield and I appreciate the time and energy they spend serving on this council.

I was born and bred in Greenfield, attended Greenfield schools and graduated from Greenfield High School. I am a business owner in Greenfield, the president of the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library and am thrilled to be a taxpayer that supported a new high school and a new senior center.

I support a new library for the Greenfield. A lot of hard worked has gone into securing a $9.4 million grant from the state of Massachusetts. The current facility is inadequate. The space is too small, it is inaccessible to those with mobility issues and people with children and strollers. Band-aides will no longer work any longer for this facility.

Please help Greenfield get a new library by joining me at the special City Council meeting about the library on Thursday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m., in the Greenfield High School auditorium. It is vital that you attend to show your support.
