Thank you for event support

To kick off the holiday season each year, the Greater Shelburne Falls Area Business Association produces Moonlight Magic the day after Thanksgiving. This year, by all accounts, the magic was brighter, the crowds more robust and the holiday spirit was in fine form.

We thank everyone who helped make Moonlight Magic happen; without the effort of volunteers and the financial support of the community, this event would not be possible. Our major sponsors of this event make all the difference! We very much appreciate the generosity and community support of Greenfield Cooperative Bank, Greenfield Savings Bank and Yankee Candle. Thank you, to all our volunteers, and especially to Don Bascom at All-Brite Cleaning Services, Cathy Buntin, Dan & Steve Dostal at Dostal Tree Service, Will Flanders, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Community Service Crew, Jonathan George, Eric Grant, Ellen Kaufman, Raymond Lanza-Weil, Dot Lyman, The Masons, Tom Massa, Casey Millane, Mohawk Regional High School Key Club, Molly Cantor, all the parade participants, Whit Sanders, the Village Information Center, Shelburne Falls Senior Center, John Taylor, the shuttle drivers, Craig and Joni Sessions at West County Equipment Rental, Julia White, and all the other magic makers.

Also, thanks to the GSFABA membership, whose support provides the foundation for Moonlight Magic and other community events. Shuttle sponsorship was particularly important this year due to the loss of previously donated vehicles. The generosity of Lamson Factory Outlet Store, Salmon Falls Gallery, Shelburne Falls Booksellers, Shelburne Falls Senior Center and West End Pub made the shuttle service possible. Thank you!

To everyone we welcomed into the village of Shelburne Falls that night, we offer you — our friends and guests who choose to believe in the magic of community — our gratitude. Wishing you a bright holiday season.
