Thank God for Trump

Thursday, December 07, 2017

It was Tuesday, June 16, 2015. I can still remember that day like it was yesterday. Donald J. Trump and his gorgeous wife, Melania, were riding down the grand escalator to Neil Young’s song “Rockin’ in the Free World” and then announcing to the world that he is running for president of the United States. I immediately started screaming and jumping for joy thinking that my Republican Party will have a candidate who might have a chance to defeat the “Great Hilary Rodham Clinton.” And much to the dismay of the Recorder, and the majority of the population of Franklin County, he did. To that, I say thank God for Donald J. Trump.

Trump has a deep and abiding love for this country and the people it comprises. He saw that the U.S. was heading in the wrong direction and decided to step in.

Trump was a super successful business person and they do not care what the press/public opinion says. Sometimes, business people relish in making decisions that are unpopular. He has had many successes, making huge bets.

One of the best traits that I admire about him is that he is a fighter and a counter-puncher. If you attack him, he will hit you back twice as hard. He has exposed the media bias and now we finally have a Republican president who will not back down from the press and stand up and fight.

The Dow Jones is breaking records. American companies are encouraged to stay here in an inviting business climate rather than flee overseas with their jobs.

Trump said “no” to the Paris Agreement, saving us billions of wasted dollars.

Finally, as Christmas is approaching, I wish to end this letter by wishing everyone a “Merry Christmas.” I can finally say this without the fear of being charged with a human rights violation, now that Trump is the POTUS (just joking).
