Protect our eco-system

There is strong evidence that logging disrupts the complex forest eco-system. The imbalance of one species can have ripple effects on dozens of other plants, animals and microbial species. Logging more and larger areas of commonwealth forests would increase the imbalances exponentially.

Until there is better understanding of how to protect our health, and the natural systems on which human life depends for air, food and water, it is extremely hazardous to risk what remains of our forests, wildlife and watersheds for short-term, short-sighted Forest Service agendas, such as in House Bill 2932.
