Props to protestors

The United States has a Constitution and a Declaration of Independence that clearly states what are and what are not the values of this country.

The football players who are kneeling are the people who are honoring the flag, our soldiers (as symbols of the protectors of our values), and the founding values of our country. It is they who are standing up for freedom, social equality, the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It is Trump, Pence and a large segment of their supporters, and all of us who remain silent, who are desecrating those values by ignoring racism and other forms of stereotyping that support and perpetuate the terrorism that our society continues to engage in and tries to ignore — the terrorism against women, blacks, Native Americans and other minorities, but especially against black citizens.

We should be honoring the protestors not attacking them. They are the true heroes, upholding our American values in the face of the aggression of the powerful, destructive forces now manifesting at the highest levels of our government.
