Martin Luther King “had a dream” of what he’d like to see in America. The other night I had a dream of what I would like. There was a large cookout for us Trump supporters and Trump’s 2020 run for President. I approached him and told him how we supported him in 2016 and he didn’t seem to care. Then I said to him, “Do you remember what happened to Hilary Clinton when she thought she had the election all sewed up?”
As the day went on, I got another chance to talk to him, while picking up trash on the ground from the cookout. I said, “How would you feel if you helped us, seeing that you’ve never had to do this before in your life?” All of a sudden, he bent down for some trash. And as he came back up, he broke out in tears. His wife said she had never seen him cry before.
This shows there is good in all of us, if we can bring it out. You may think my letter is “off the wall.” But with all the hate out there against this man, wouldn’t it be nice if my dream came true?
