Inadequate phone service

As one of the 800 or so residents of Warwick, I greatly appreciate your editorial about our troubles with Verizon landline phone service, and your position that we should not have to resort to suing Verizon to ensure reliable service.

There is one point I’d like to add — most Warwick residents have no cell phone coverage at home. We don’t have a choice about cell vs. landline. People not having reliable landline service is a public safety and health risk. Verizon has been letting us limp along with inadequate equipment for many years. Thank you.
