Ginny Desorgher for Precinct 3 councilor

Published: 10/8/2019 9:47:09 AM

If you ever have the privilege of meeting Ginny Desorgher, you’re in for a treat. Those of us who have come to know her have learned that this is a woman who is fiercely devoted to public service. She is a retired ER nurse. Her impressive resume of involvement in our city includes, among many others, the Human Rights Commission, Community Meals, Senior Center, Veterans, Affordable Housing, Disability Access and six years on Greenfield’s Planning Board. Over the years, she has developed a clear understanding of the workings, dynamics and politics of Greenfield.

Ginny is a tenacious “researcher,” is highly organized and enjoys tackling difficult challenges. She is very results-oriented and clear in her beliefs but respects other people’s thoughts as she looks for solutions. She is a regular attendee at City Council meetings and, for the past two years, has attended literally every budget hearing. She understands the budget and is intensely focused on the problem of taxes. She is clear on what needs to be done to move Greenfield forward, and she has the passion and the energy to help make that happen.

As Ginny says in her handouts, “More than a city, it’s my home.” People of Precinct 3, vote for Ginny Desorgher on Nov. 5.
