The Law Day article [“Law Day extols ‘cornerstones of democracy,” Recorder, May 2] was an important and useful teaching tool. An explanation of President Eisenhower’s action as a counterpoint to the Soviet Union’s May Day celebration of communism (on May 1) would have enlarged the lesson on government.
