I just wanted to send out universal love to the 8 million beautiful, amazing horses that lost their lives during World War I. Also to the 1.5 million lost to the Civil War, along with the many millions felled during the countless wars before that.

These horses deserve just as much recognition as anyone else felled during these wars. Most of the time animals don’t get their due respect, because with humans it’s always about us (ego, you know). This is no disrespect for all the men and women who gave their lives during these wars. For they were only following man’s orders, as usual.

I just feel it’s right to honor such amazing animals for their sacrifice, their strength, and most of all, their beautiful spirit. I’m sure most people didn’t even realize that 8 million horses perished during World War I alone. So I’m filling the universe with radiant love for all the horses and any other animal that perished and made the ultimate sacrifice throughout time.
