After reading of all the bad news happening in the world, I was overjoyed to read in the Nov. 4 Recorder of the efforts of the students in Cherilyn Bulger’s Essential Skills class at Greenfield High School, who are raising money for the Wounded Warrior Project [“Students rally to support veterans”].

The news media rarely reports the actions of teens who are actually making a difference in our world. I am so proud of this teacher, and the students who participated in this project, and I’m sure I’m not alone. This article made my day!
