We want to thank the Clark family for hosting an Earth Day hike in their orchard. The views were beautiful, the talk was very informative. Not only did we learn about the ecology of an orchard, but we also heard a lot of interesting local history, human and geologic, from the Clarks and some of the other guests. The well-placed rest stations with water and pear cider were much appreciated, too. Clarkdale’s recent Local Hero Award was very well-deserved!
