What does one do when there is groundwater in one’s basement of their house?

I called the non-emergency police number and they sent the Fire Department, who got rid of most of it. They called the local Department of Public Works, who removed sewage water and unplugged the outlet.

We get great service from this city of Greenfield. Did employees come unwillingly. No, they were cheerful, professional and pleasant.

Public works have improved sidewalks, resurfaced and patched roads and still we forget to say, “Thanks!”

Thanks and Merry Christmas to all city employees.
