Chris Williams: Grateful to Deerfield Academy for playing field improvements

We are writing to express our gratitude to Deerfield Academy for their exceptional work in renovating the Valiton and Jack Zabek fields this past month. The members of the Frontier Regional baseball and softball programs are incredibly thankful for the support and resources provided by Deerfield Academy.

The resurfacing process of the clay infields and the replacement of the grass edging along the baselines was much needed, and we are thrilled with the outcome. The fields were filled with Deerfield Academy equipment and personnel, and we could not have achieved such an excellent result without their help.

Thank you to the school’s leadership and their staff who provided expertise, equipment and labor for this project. We recognize and value the impact you made to our community. We are eager to take to the fields this spring!
