Kathie Bridges: Protesters are not Hamas

Reading the Oct. 30 My Turn [“Protests against Israel sow hatred, dread”] by Frank Roberts, I found a sentence that, in my opinion, feeds a feeling of dread and hopelessness because it shows a part of the very complex problem in almost all instances of conflict. “When protesters in my hometown are waving Palestinian flags, I feel a new sense of dread.”

Why? Those protesters are not Hamas, they are there for the Palestinians. This is a big difference. And throughout history, that difference can play a very large part in conflicts and in conflict resolution all over the world.
