Orange, June 25, Judge David S. Ross

Christopher R. Stevens, 36, of Pratt Street, Erving. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery on a pregnant victim, larceny under $1,200, intimidating a witness, juror, police or court official, and malicious destruction of property under $1,200 value. Released on personal recognizance. Must have no contact, direct or indirect, and stay away from the named alleged victim’s residence and her work place. A C276, Section 56A form was filed by the commonwealth. Allegation of abuse under Chapter 276, Section 56A was found. Continued to 8/7/18 for pretrial conference. Must pay counsel fee of $150, or perform 12 hours of community service, in lieu of regular 16 hours.

Patricia Grimes, 58, of East River Street, Orange. Found responsible for disturbing the peace. Fined $50, to be paid today, and decriminalized, to wit, converted to a civil offense.

Orange, June 26, Judge David S. Ross

Christopher Jellison, 33, of Highland Avenue, Athol. Found not guilty by a jury trial for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent. Found responsible for no inspection sticker. Found not guilty of failure to stop for police, as the jury was never instructed. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Greenfield, June 27, Judge William Mazanec III

Michael Brothers, 30 of Depot Street, Monroe. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Deerfield by state police. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 9/27/18. Charge of number plate violation to conceal identification, dismissed on request of the commonwealth. Found not responsible for unregistered motor vehicle.

Jermaine D. Mellers, 41, of Bridgeport, Conn. Pleaded innocent to unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, improper operation of a motor vehicle and refusing to produce license, registration or plates in Deerfield by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 8/20/18, with motion to dismiss.

Emily A. Millspaugh, 40, of Congress Street, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery on a family/household member, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a vehicle, assault with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a vehicle, disorderly conduct, indecent exposure and reckless operation of a motor vehicle in Colrain by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Must stay away from two specified locations in Colrain. Must have no drugs or alcohol, and is subject to screens. Must have Scram unit applied, and must report to probation daily until the Scram unit can be installed. Continued to 8/7/18 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Emily A. Millspaugh, 40, of Congress Street, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, operating with suspended registration, and uninsured motor vehicle in Colrain by state police, same date as in previous case. Released on personal recognizance, with same conditions as in the previous case. Continued to 8/7/18 for pretrial conference.

Arielle L. Phillips, 27, of Harris Court, Greenfield. Admitted to sufficient facts for leaving the scene of property damage. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 12/27/18, with victim-witness assessment of $50, and must complete the eight-hour safe driver education program. Admitted to sufficient facts for negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 12/17/28, with same conditions as in count one. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

Douglas M. Belanger, 30, of Mountain Road, Erving. Pleaded guilty to assault and battery in Greenfield. Filed with defendant’s consent, until 12/27/18. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Lisa Hall, 47, of Union Street, Greenfield. Pleaded guilty to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, second offense, in Montague, placed on probation until 6/20/20, with head-injury assessment of $250 and victim-witness assessment of $50, plus must complete the 14-day residential program. Must have mental health evaluation and take any after-care recommended, plus two-years loss of license, or until the Registry of Motor Vehicles reinstates the license. Must have no alcohol and is subject to screens. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed on request of the commonwealth. Must perform 16 hours of community service.

Amanda M. Fogg, 30, of West Townshend, Vt. Pleaded guilty to possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin in Greenfield by state police. Fined $800, plus $200 surfine. Pleaded guilty to possessing a Class B drug, to wit, crack cocaine. Fined $800, plus $200 surfine. Must pay counsel fee of $150 or perform 16 hours of community service.

Karl R. Grangade, 30, of Chapman Street, Greenfield. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 6/26/19 with 45-day mandatory loss of license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80. Found not responsible for failure to drive in the right lane. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

Joshua Rahimian, 31, of Dracut. Found not guilty for assault and battery on a family/household member in Athol following a jury trial.

Erika Mallet, 23, of Jasmine Road, Orange. Placed on pretrial probation until 12/28/18 for assault and battery on family household member, must have a mental health evaluation and take any after-care recommended. Placed on pretrial probation for intimidating a witness, juror, police or court official and assault with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a knife, with same conditions as in count one. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

Erika Mallet, 23, of Jasmine Road, Orange. Placed on pretrial probation until 12/28/18, same date as in previous case, for kidnapping, with same conditions as in previous case .

Dusty L. Landy, 49, of South Main Street, Athol. Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, dismissed on request of the commonwealth.

Andrew D. Constant, 34, of Mechanic Street, Orange. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery on a family/household member. Released on personal recognizance. A C276, Section 56A form was filed by the commonwealth. Continued to 8/3/18 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150 and $200 counsel contribution.

Clayton S. Kessler, 25, of High Knob Road, Athol. Pleaded innocent to receiving stolen property over $1,200, and intimidating a witness, juror, police or court official. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 7/16/18. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Greenfield, June 28, Judge William Mazanec III

Aaron E. Labor, 36, of Mount Hermon Station Road, Northfield. Pleaded guilty to possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, in Greenfield. Sentenced to five months in the house of correction, direct, concurrent with another case, and Howard Street facility in Springfield is recommended.

Cassey J. Platek, 30, of Taylor Hill Road, Montague. Pleaded guilty to possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, subsequent offense. Placed on probation until 6/27/19, with victim-witness assessment of $50. Must have no drugs or alcohol, and is subject to screens/tests. Must continuecounseling with CSO, and must sign releases so that the probation office can monitor attendance at programs ordered by the judge. Possessing a Class B drug, to wit, suboxone, subsequent offense. Placed on probation until 6/27/19, with the same conditions as in count one. Must perform four hours of community service per month.

Wesley G. Nelson, 34, of New Haven, Conn. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, in Greenfield by state police. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 6/27/19, with 45-day mandatory loss of license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250 and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80. Found not responsible for a charge of number plate violation. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

Kimberley I. Jurkowski, 28, of Saint Mary’s Street, Northfield. Pleaded innocent to operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, and rate of speed exceeding the posted limit in Greenfield by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 8/10/18 for pretrial conference.

Jamal Bouchard, 26, of Phillips Street, Greenfield. Admitted to sufficient facts for failure to stop for police in Greenfield. Fined $100. Found responsible for marked lanes violation. Fined $100. Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and negligent operation of a motor vehicle both dismissed on request of the commonwealth. Must perform 16 hours of community service or pay $150 counsel fee.

Roger J. Sadoski, 63, of River Road, South Deerfield. Pleaded innocent to leaving the scene of property damage and a marked lanes violation. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 8/9/18 for pretrial conference.

Jeremy C. Haselton, 24, of Main Road, Colrain. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Greenfield by state police to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Found not responsible for miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation.

Jonathan D. Wintie, 38, of Easthampton. Pleaded guilty to negligent operation of a motor vehicle in Whately. Sentenced to 90 days in the house of correction, suspended. Placed on probation until 6/27/19, with head-injury assessment of $250 and victim-witness assessment of $50, and must have no drugs or alcohol, and be subject to screens. Pleaded guilty to license suspended, amended down from operating a motor vehicle with license suspended for operating under the influence of liquor. Found guilty. Given 60 days loss of license and filed with defendant’s consent. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

Adam A. Medeiros, 27, of West Hatfield. Pleaded innocent to breaking and entering into a building in the daytime with intent to commit a felony and larceny from a building. Bail set at $200 cash and must stay 10 yards away from South Part Road in Conway. Continued to 8/9/18 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Benjamin H. Makara, 27, of Stockton Springs, Maine. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent in Whately by state police. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 6/27/19, with 45-day mandatory loss of license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250 and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80, or an equivalent program approved by the court here.
